1. Borrow Books From the Library

Yes, the library! Whoever came up with the idea of borrowing books from one place, for free, was a genius! Libraries are one of the best places to borrow books from, not only because it costs nothing, but you've got so much choice. And it still helps the author! So, check out your local library, sign up and get borrowing!

2. Kindle Deals and Free Promotions

Kindle and Amazon are another great place to look for new material. You can sign up to get emails for daily and monthly deals, and snatch them up while you can. Books can be dropped to 99p or less when they're on the Kindle Countdown deal and some promotions make books free for up to five days! Plus, you can always search 'free book' on the Kindle store, and you'll find loads of books that are free to download!

3. Charity Shops

Who said the books you were buying had to be brand new? Charity shops are a brilliant place to go book-hunting! Oxfam, The British Heart Foundation, Emmaus - they all see books for super-cheap prices and your money will be going to a good cause!

4. Bargain Stores

Like the above, bargain stores are another wonderful place to look for books. B&M and Poundland are just a few of the options available to you and, if you're willing to put the time in, then you can find some real gems!

5. Consider Becoming a Book Blogger

This one might seem a little out there, but again, it's an option. Book bloggers will be sent free books by publishers and authors, in exchange for an honest review. This way, you're getting new reading material and you're helping the author - it's win-win!
