What We believe

What we publish

At Pegasus, we publish books in a wide range of formats, including paperback, hardback, eBook and audiobook. Each year, our catalogue spans a broad variety of genres, from fiction and non-fiction to children’s books and specialist titles.

We welcome both debut and established authors, looking for stories that inform, entertain, inspire and connect with readers.

Through our children’s imprint, we publish books that encourage curiosity, imagination and a lifelong love of reading. Across our wider family of imprints, we also support bold, original and distinctive voices, giving different genres and audiences a dedicated home.

Our Publishing Contracts

We offer both traditional and shared-cost publishing contracts, allowing us to support a wide range of new and established authors.

Under a traditional publishing contract, the publisher covers the cost of producing, promoting and distributing the book, with the author receiving royalties on each copy sold.

Under a shared-cost contract, the author contributes towards the cost of publication, while we invest in the production, publicity and distribution of the book. Whichever route is offered, every author receives the same professional care, editorial support and commitment throughout the publishing process.
