'Hingston: Smoke and Mispers' by Decima Blake Longlisted for Chanticleer CLUE Book Awards

 |  News

Few things get us as excited as when our fabulous authors hit important career milestones, and we're here today to share some news with you!

Three-time Pegasus author Decima Blake, author of 'Detective Dachshund and the Fluffy Thief' and the Hingston series has had her latest book 'Hingston: Smoke and Mispers' longlisted for the 2023 Chanticleer CLUE Book Awards, in the Thriller/Suspense Fiction category!

You can take a look at the full list of books here.

The winner of the 2023 Chanticleer CLUE Book Awards will be announced on April 20th, 2024. Save the date!

Not familar with Decima and her work? You should be! Decima first found her way to our catalogue in 2016 with her debut 'Hingston's Box', a supernatural detective novel, set in a world where nothing is quite as it seems. The sequel 'Hingston: Smoke and Mispers' invites us once again into the life of DS Hingston as he follows a mysterious trail to find a murderer before more young lives are lost.

Decima has also authored and illustrated a delightful children's book 'Detective Dachshund and the Fluffy Thief'. A departure from the Hingston books certainly, but still following a (particularly adorable) detective as he and Reece the Rat hunt down a thief by the name of Clawdius Cat. You can check out Decima's books here.
