10 Fictional Characters We Would Like To Meet

10 Fictional Characters We Would Like To Meet

 |  Features

We all have a fictional crush - maybe it's George Weasley, Batman or Legolas. Either way, there are certainly book characters that we wish existed in real life. So here's our list of ten fictional characters that we would like to meet.

1) Sirius Black

Who wouldn't want to meet this awesome man? He flew on a Hippogriff, escaped Azkaban and - technically - came back from the dead, even if only as a phantom.

2) Gandalf

The ultimate wizard, with his tall statue, long beard and grey hat; this epic gentleman is one that you would just have to meet up with. The stories he could tell would have you listening for hours. A very clever character, whose wise words and personal experiences could teach us all a thing or two.

3) Captain Jack Sparrow

Who wouldn't want to go out on the town with the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow? A witty and funny character, who hardly ever used a gun and used his own brand of cleverness to talk himself out of a sticky situation. You might end up in a fight or two, and you would probably be left questioning where the rum had gone, but it would absolutely be worth it.

4) Katniss Everdeen

Whether you like The Hunger Games or not, you have to admit that Katniss is definitely a character to bring to life. The epitome of female strength, and with a relatively unflappable personality, Katniss could certainly teach us all a lesson about resilience in the face of adversity. She uses her intelligence to survive an ordeal that would - and did - destroy most people. And she might just teach you how to use a bow!

5) Chandler

Yes, he probably would drive you insane with the puns and sarcastic comments, but you can't deny that Chandler is one to love. One of the main characters from Friends, those who love Chandler adore his funny personality and witty humour, and why not? We can all do with someone who can show us the reality with a touch of humour!

6) The Doctor

If anyone says that they wouldn't want to meet the Doctor, then they're lying! Can you imagine getting to travel through all of space and time inside the TARDIS, as a companion to a Time Lord? A man who has seen the birth of universes and fought in the Time War? Allons-y!

7) Willy Wonka

Think of all the chocolate! And the Umpa-Lumpas! Yes, the man is insane, but it would be worth it!

8) The Genie (Aladdin)

Do we really need to explain this one?! He's a singing, dancing, shape-shifting, genie! 3 wishes for anything in the world? Hey, maybe you could wish some of these other characters into existence?

9) Nymphadora Tonks

Clumsy, but a brilliant lady! Tonks is just one of those women who can't be put down. She is the ultimate bad-ass and one you would want to spend a day with! Whether it's fighting Death Eaters, changing her face and hair, or knocking over troll's legs, this witch has a style all her own!

10) Toph

For those who aren't familiar with the Avatar series (and we mean the animated television series, not the movie), Toph is just...wow! This girl, an Earth-Bender, is completely blind, but does she let that stop her? Of course not! She fights off bad guys just as much as the rest of the gang, and she's got a brilliant, sarcastic attitude to match. She even invents her own form of bending (Metal-Bending)! How cool is that?

So, those are our top ten fictional characters that we would love to meet. What are yours?
