Steff Herbern

Steff Herbern (born 1949) from Bygdøy, Oslo, where his father was a sailboat designer and builder with a boatyard. As a national team sailor, he was asked in the mid-1970s to sail as crew for HM King Olav.
Herbern rebuilt the old Herberns Boatyard to become one of Norway's largest private marinas. Later, he established Herbern Marina and restaurant at Aker Brygge, which he owned and operated for nearly twenty-five years. In recent years, he has been the owner of the restaurants Baltazar and Skur 33 in Oslo.
Herbern has two daughters and a son from previous marriages and has six grandchildren so far.
