Poems from Reading Shakespeare

R. Allen Shoaf

In Poems From Reading Shakespeare, the beauty of language shines through in reflections ‎inspired by Shakespeare's timeless works. These poems explore themes of humanity, identity, ‎and the power of words, drawing on lines from his plays and sonnets. From the relentless flow ‎of thought in "This Side Idolatry" to the playful unraveling of language in "Puns" and the raw ‎vulnerability of "Unaccommodated Man," this collection offers a deep, thoughtful engagement ‎with Shakespearean literature. Each poem celebrates the wit, humor, and truths hidden in his ‎work, while also offering fresh perspectives on life's complexities. Poems From Reading ‎Shakespeare invites readers to reconsider their relationship with language, meaning, and the ‎rich experiences that shape us all.‎
