W.A Sorgedrager-Buner

Mrs W A Sorgedrager-Buner was there at the end of ‎the war with eleven thousand women and children. ‎Only half of those survived the Hell. Mrs W A ‎Sorgedrager-Buner wrote her memories down so ‎people could understand what happened and how ‎anyone could have survived the brutal treatment they ‎endured. There in the camp staying ‘Alive and ‎Healthy' was of utmost importance The camp ‎changed the lives of everyone who was imprisoned ‎there. Through sheer determination and strength Mrs. W ‎A Sorgedrager-Buner lived to a hundred and two years ‎old, she died 28th February 2010. She quoted, there is ‎no secret I am just lucky, but it is her mind and spirit ‎and her positive outlook that kept her alive.‎
