Growing up as a child in the early 1970s in a two-up-two-down terraced house opposite the main London railway line, money was scarce and times were simpler living with no central heating, no mobile phones, no McDonald's and you could play on the streets safely. I have always challenged myself in life, starting businesses, doing a degree at the age of 45 whilst working in a male prison, learning about Antiques which is a huge passion of mine and now at 60 writing a children's book and having the courage to put it forward for publishing.
