Sarah Hepworth-Dodds

Before embarking on her career as a nurse, she had ‎always worked in a corporate environment (people ‎and project management). After returning from three ‎years in Australia in 2014 with the family, she ‎decided to return to education and train as a nurse. Her ‎husband commuted to London during this time to ‎support her in her studies.‎

The aim of this book is to give readers an insight ‎into the struggles of the pandemic for frontline staff ‎and to share the highs and lows of the pandemic ‎first-hand. It's about inspiration and the unbreakable ‎bonds between patients, families and colleagues.‎
These times were unprecedented. Politics can ‎often get in the way of looking at the reality of ‎what we are/have lived through. Hopefully, this book ‎will inspire future nurses and give a greater ‎understanding of how every contact she had, no ‎matter how minor, had the potential to change lives, ‎for better or worse.‎
