After art school, Ray Wyborn trained as a commercial artist and worked for many years in London in the advertising industry. He started writing about fifty years ago for his own satisfaction but, spurred on by friends and family, he decided to dip his toe into publishing. Although fictional, his story of growing up during the war is based on his own experiences.
