Peter Hess

Peter Hess, a professor of economics, emeritus, at Davidson ‎College, is Michael's brother. At Davidson, he was fortunate to ‎receive three major teaching awards. He also has co-authored ‎undergraduate texts on economic principles and economic ‎development and authored undergraduate texts on mathematical ‎economics and economic growth and sustainable development. ‎Peter has served as president of the board of directors of Nepal ‎Orphans Home, the non-profit organization founded by Michael, in ‎‎2005. His wife, Barbara (Boo), has been secretary/treasurer of Nepal ‎Orphans Home since the beginning. Together, they have ‎volunteered six times over the years in Nepal with Papa's House.‎
