Mike is originally from Hull in Yorkshire. He is a chartered insurer who retired to live the dream of writing a book. His first book, A Soldier's Story, was published in 2020. His other interests include rugby, reading and walking, and he is the chairman of a local choir. Mike lives in Norwich with his wife Anita.
