Mary Barr

Author Mary Barr has indulged her passion for writing for several ‎decades. Now semi-retired from a fast-paced and varied career, she is ‎able to focus on her favorite interests: oil painting, renovating houses ‎and designing jewelry. However, her greatest passion has remained ‎storytelling. Creating characters, their lives and destinies proves an ‎exciting and thought-provoking pastime. Bitten by the writing bug at ‎age seven, when she won her first literary award, Mary has enjoyed a ‎lifelong love affair with writing, one that keeps her busy each day. ‎Children's books have recently joined her range of genres. Mary Barr ‎resides in British Columbia, Canada, with her Canadian husband; she ‎has one adult daughter, who lives and works overseas.‎
