Liz Simon

Liz Simon began as an elementary teacher, winning the inaugural Satisfac Teacher Excellence Award, 1995 - ‘a role model for other teachers and for her work and writings on literacy.'
Liz continued as a Literacy Consultant in South Australia, London, New York, and Jersey City. She supported school leadership in shifting teacher practice from directive approaches to more child centred pedagogy. Her consultancy included delivering workshops and presenting at conferences in South Australia, London, New York, Jersey City, Virginia and Ohio.
Liz authored and published numerous teacher focused literacy books addressing writing, spelling, reading, and critical thinking. Two of these titles were published in the United States.
