Helyn Latimer

Helyn Latimer studied Music and Drama and later completed a PGCE in primary education. She became a professional puppeteer, actor, musician and teacher, working extensively in theatre, television, schools, libraries and community spaces throughout Wales and beyond. She works through the medium of both English and Welsh. After writing scripts for children's' productions over many years, she finally became a children's author in 2022 with the publication of her first book, Bully Goat Griff. She lives in the Vale of Glamorgan and her hobbies include running, playing piano, flute, mandolin and guitar, singing in folk clubs and walking her dog!
