Hayley Farrar

Hayley Farrar has worked in mental health for over a decade. Part of this work has included training staff to understand suicidal ideation and self-injury in children and young people. One of the most common worries they share is how to have the difficult conversations around this subject, how to bring the topic up and how to support the children to find other (less harmful) ways of managing. Hayley hopes this little book of hope is a gentle way to introduce this emotive subject, whilst offering practical strategies and a reminder that change is possible.
