Cornelis M Stubbe

To understand who I am and how I came to write books for children, I believe that you need to know a little more about my background.

At almost sixty years young, up till now, I have had a pretty eventful and exiting life. I have seen war, travelled to numerous countries and places and lived all over the world.

I called a lot off countries ‘Home’: Indonesia, Hong Kong, Canada, Ireland, Belgium, The Netherlands and now The United Kingdom. Part of the inspiration for my books comes from the extensive travelling I did over the years.

My love of nature and animals are also a big part of my stories.

The final part and the most inspiring is no doubt my family. My wife and my children are part of the story and a constant source of motivation as well as inspiration.
