Christine Gauthier and Marc Dauphin

Christine and Marc have been a couple for the last fifty years. Both are French-speaking Quebecers. She is a nurse with a BA in German and Italian studies. He is an ER doc with thirty-nine years in the Canadian Armed Forces and a decorated Afghanistan War veteran. With an interest for Europe (where they have lived three times) and its history, they started writing, thirty years ago, about little-known facets of the World Wars. L’Anneau de Gabriele (Montreal, 1998) was a bestseller in Québec.
