Brian Pollard

As the youngest of three children, Brian was the last ‎to do many things, reading was one of them. ‎According to his mother, his older siblings would read ‎stories to him and being unable to reciprocate, on ‎becoming verbal, he would make up stories and recite ‎them, to their delight. As time passed, his delight in ‎creating short stories never waned and periodically, he ‎would put pen to paper when inspired. As an avid ‎reader, he always longed for material which related to ‎his cultural heritage and often times would struggle to ‎find fiction which satisfied that particular void. In ‎writing his own stories, he was able to fulfill that need ‎and hopes to satisfy that same thirst in other children ‎of the West Indies such as himself. During his ‎professional career as a dentist, he continued to make ‎time to continue his pursuit of writing.‎
