The author walked the Camino (an ancient pilgrimage route in Spain) for the first time in 2003. 2022 was his fourteenth summer walking the Camino. He has also walked along pilgrimage trails in Palestine, Israel, Nepal and Italy. This novel, Miri, an allegory of the Camino experience, steps into the pain, the joys, the feeling of magic as well as the reality of the journey and the transformation(s) each pilgrim will come to face.
