In love and war

Willow Fitzgerald

More than a century has passed to make the First World War a thing of the past, but many stories are still being told to ensure remembrance of one of the most gruesome and macabre events in human history.

Willow Fitzgerald, however, tells an unconventional tale of an heroic exhibition by a young countess named Lady Galway. Though females of early twentieth century Britain are not permitted to become part of the fighting troops, Lady Galway gets herself by subterfuge into the King’s army. Why does she dare? Is it her patriotism or something else? In the midst of war, she performs many unimaginable feats; but if not all for the love of her country, then for whom? Will she be able to carry on her special mission in the face of all the grim horrors of war? Read this brilliant tale to discover her adventures through many breathtaking twists and turns

ABOUT WILLOW FITZGERALD

Willow Fitzgerald is a quiet ‘bookworm’ with an active, and somewhat quirky, imagination and sense of humour. Because of this, he has always lived very much in his imagination, and for as long as he can remember, stories and the characters he would invent in his mind were almost as real to him as life itself. Real life is equally interesting and important too, of course, and as well as having a deep interest in military history and various other subjects, he also loves nature and walking and bicycling in the great outdoors.
