Jack Morgan was wounded in the China missile crisis and awakens from cryogenic sleep two hundred and fifty years into his own future, into a world that is very different from the one he knew. Jack will need to call on all of his training and the things that defined him as human to help civilisation crawl back from the brink. Along the way he will find new friends and allies as well as enemies more cunning and deadly, as they evolved from even the slightest of personal contact.
