ABOUT RASHO


Rasho (H. Naser Rasho) a physician and novelist, and a survivor of the genocide committed by ‎Islamic State (ISIS) against his people, the Yazidis, on the night of August 3, 2014. He managed to ‎escape on August 3, but later returned through Syria to the mountain to provide aid and medical ‎assistance. He was trapped on the mountain, where he spent days and nights in the mountains, in a ‎difficult life, suffering greatly, along with the rest, until they were able to escape through the valley ‎to Syria and then to the north of Iraq (Kurdistan). He lives a different life and works in several ‎different fields, where he works as a medical doctor and works in humanitarian fields as well as in ‎the political opposition in pursuit of justice and freedom in a homeland where life almost ‎completely disappears.‎
