ABOUT PJ LENNON

Paul Nicholls, alias PJ Lennon, was born in Debden, in SW Essex, England. One of six children, his ‎early memories are of playing cricket in the garden with his brothers and being taught how to bowl ‎the googly by his cricket-loving father. He saw his first football match, aged eight, in 1960 and has ‎been a West Ham fan ever since.‎
By his twenties, he'd visited most of the countries of the world serving aboard merchant navy ‎ships. The desire to write books was always there from an early age, but it wasn't until he moved to ‎the beautiful town of Wiveliscombe, Somerset, where he met his partner, the love of his life, that ‎this yearning was realised. ‎
That early love of cricket blossomed. He now reports on the game, both county and international ‎cricket, for two local radio stations. He has written the biography of Andy Hurry, the DOC at ‎Somerset CC.‎
