Four humans - Felix, Georgie, Jay and Kit - and, Spot, a small energetic dog, as well as Flash, a quick and clever cat, embark on an adventurous journey through space. Nothing is known to them of the wonders and dangers that lie ahead. This is a story of a journey where these explorers encounter living beings on different planets full of fierce creatures and otherworldly things, as well as an encounter with a friendly being on another planet. But as they travel further into space, they are met with a strange and eerie mist on the final planet. The mist engulfs them, making them all unconscious. What secrets does the mist hide, and will they ever wake up to find their way home?

ABOUT PETER FLINT


Peter Flint is a retired solicitor who lives in Shropshire. He is married and has three daughters and four grandchildren. After being taken to an aquarium, one of his grandsons - Harrison aged five - became interested in fish. Peter still has a whale's toothgiven to him as a boy many years ago whilst living on the island of Madeira. This was the inspiration for a short story written for Harrison - " Walter's Bad Tooth ". Further stories followed, which make up " The Reef Beneath The Waves ", the author's first book.
