ABOUT NICK SHUTT


Venerable Nick Shutt is a retired archdeacon in the Church of England and until recently a non-residentiary canon at Exeter Cathedral. Nick was ordained in 1994 and, between 1983–2008, practiced as a solicitor in private practice, retiring to take up a full-time, unpaid role in the CofE as firstly a rector in multi-parish ministry on Dartmoor, and then as an archdeacon in Exeter and Truro Dioceses. Nick is married to Corinne and has two grown-up children and five grandchildren. Photography and writing are his passions, and dog-walking is a daily necessity for his two spaniels.
