A wintry bedtime tale of unexpected kindness, deep in the forest, where Nanny Owl is settling for a cold night. She hears a small sound that sparks her interest, and she takes flight in search for its source. When she realises that a lost little mouse is frightened and alone, she takes them on a search for safety, eventually returning them safely to the mother who is desperately searching for them. Nanny Owl wouldn't usually be associated with safety and support for a small mouse in the dark night, but she's re-writing her bad press. In the process she learns more about the world and takes comfort for herself in the compassion, kindness and love she discovers.
