Emma desperately wanted a pet. She made a wish every time while looking at a shooting star in the sky, when blowing out a birthday candle and every time she released a ladybird in her hand. One night in the spring when everyone was asleep, a car stopped near the house. The car door opened, a thick hand reached out, and placed a small black ball on to the garden of the house. So a little black kitten found home in a loving family. The joy at the arrival of the kitten to the house was immeasurable. Emma's great wish for a pet had come true and she spent all of her free time with Buffy.
