Prudence and the Rescue Mission

Michele Killey

Prudence and her group of new friends embark on a mission like no other. It is a story of comradery, selflessness, true friendship and trust. This is a sequel to ‘Prudence' the story of an Indian runner duck who gets lost following a cicada, her journey home and the unusual friendships she encounters. Prudence and the rescue mission depicts only a fragment of the suffering and loss of so many animals during the Australian bush fires of 2019/2020 where an estimated three billion animals, mammals, reptiles, birds and frogs were either killed or displaced.

ABOUT MICHELE KILLEY

Born in England I emigrated to Australia in 1990, living in Queensland in a beautiful small town in the Glass House Mountains with my partner, our two dogs, Bosco and Gigi, and three chickens. I have three children and four grandchildren all living here in Australia and all of whom I adore. My older sister and her family as well as my mum also live here in Queensland. My dad and stepmum, younger sister and her family live in the UK and I hope to be able to travel to see them soon. Family is the most important thing to me and I love and miss them every day.
