Frankie Saves the World

Melissa Hoffman

Frankie is a nine-month-old unadopted puppy. Little does she know her life is about to change dramatically when a rough-looking cat convinces her to follow him to the big wide world, which is actually a 150-year-old family farm owned by two elderly sisters who know of Frankie's special powers. Mentored by a giant cow named Big Cow, Frankie develops skills that will be used to flush out an illegal puppy mill. Frankie and Millie Mouse are to provide surveillance of the property, but once she sees the mistreatment of the mother dogs and puppies she inadvertently accesses one of her special powers - fire - to thwart the bad guys, causing much chaos. Big Cow and the sisters anticipated this might happen and provided backup through their Australian Shepherds. Frankie must learn to harness her extraordinary powers carefully. She hopes the sisters give her another chance and a new home.
