Beating the Odds! narrates Joy Alway's journey along the Via de la Plata Camino while the world is engulfed in the throes of COVID-19. A painful divorce urges her on to acquire the peace and sense of accomplishment she needs in her life, and definitely not the fact that a forty-year-old Dutch Greek god-like website designer she had met previously is going to walk the same Camino at the same time.
