A Boy Named Vincent

J A Hitchcock

Several incidents involving a neglected ten-year-old boy cause Alison, a twenty-five-year-old medical secretary, to confront her own deeply buried childhood memories. A spontaneous act of kindness on a rainy day towards a homeless young man leads to further events and revelations and a personal realisation for Alison. She could not have predicted the lasting impact these encounters would have on her own life and she would be forever grateful to Vincent for that.

ABOUT J A HITCHCOCK

I was born in 1966 in Kettering, Northamptonshire before moving to Germany, Ireland, and various parts of England as part of an army family. My varied education in many different schools encouraged my love of a good book and, from an early age, I have had the desire to write my own, but never the confidence to believe in myself to be able to achieve this. It took the encouragement of a friend, an impulsive moment and a dream to finally reach that goal.
