ABOUT WALTER W. MILLER




Walter Miller is a former print and broadcast journalist. His career began as a reporter for the Johnson City, Tennessee Press Chronicle.  He spent eleven years as a foreign correspondent in Hong Kong, India and Japan, and reported extensively throughout Asia. He was the Chief Asia Correspondent for Cox Newspapers based in Tokyo, acting bureau chief for United Press International in New Delhi, India and correspondent for UPI in Hong Kong. After returning to the U.S. he joined CNN in Atlanta and was a producer and writer.  He received a BA degree in history from Hampden-Sydney College and MA degree in history from the University of Tennessee.
