What do you get if you send out glory-seeking Vikings, swilling magical ale from a bottomless keg, to scour for loot and enjoy a sex romp through the ancient cities of Russia and the East? Blood on the Axe is a jolly romp from the shores of Lake Malaren to the fantastically rich cities of the east. My Viking heroes (well, anti-heroes) encounter gods, harlots, shysters, thieves, and imbeciles. They bang elbows with emperors, khagans, and despots on their way to the glory of Valhalla - or at least many romps with harlots. Did I mention them? Along the way, laughs and bawdy times are had by all.
