The Schidoni Pentacle

Geraint V Jones

The year is 2002. Two ancient documents have gone missing from the Vatican's secret archives. One is a Nag Hammadi papyrus, dating from the first century CE, the content of which, if made public, has the potential to undermine not only the teachings of Roman Catholicism but the very tenet of Christianity itself. The second document is a crude seventh century map of the Languedoc in southern France. Oral tradition claims that it shows where the treasure of King Solomon's Temple, looted by General Titus' Roman legions in 70AD and later plundered by the Visigoths, is hidden. To decipher the map, however, will require the aid of another ancient artefact, an engraving known as The Schidoni Pentacle. MI6 have been losing agents in Rome and Albania. When Gus Adams agrees to investigate, little does he suspect what dangers and what adventures await him.
