The Hole in The Sky

Robert Gordon

In the stillness of a hospital room in 1983, Major Mike McKay lies broken from a car accident-but it is the past that haunts him most. For nearly three decades, he has carried the burden of secrets buried deep within the Nevada desert, where classified missions, mysterious aircraft, and unexplained phenomena changed the course of his life. Once a decorated fighter pilot and patriot, Mike now questions everything he believed: his faith, his government, and even the truth of his own survival.
From the dogfights of World War II to the hidden corridors of America's most secret airbases, Robert Gordon's The Hole in the Sky blends historical realism with pulse-racing intrigue. This is not just the story of a man at war with enemies abroad-but with the shadows of his own country's darkest secrets.
Daring, emotional, and unflinchingly human, this novel will keep you questioning until the final page.
