Sylvia and Reg

Denis Delaney

On the day she carefully planned to end her life, Sylvia’s world takes an unexpected turn when she stops a stranger from jumping off a viaduct. Reg, whose own pain mirrors hers, becomes the spark that reignites her will to live. What begins as a chance encounter between two broken souls evolves into a journey of compassion, friendship and rediscovery. As their lives intertwine, Sylvia confronts the ghosts of her past and the grief she thought she’d buried, while Reg learns to find strength in vulnerability and identity. Sylvia and Reg is a tender, witty and deeply human story that reminds us how connection can arrive when we least expect it — and how, sometimes, saving someone else becomes the first step in saving ourselves.
