Spencer's Speech

Merryn Jones

Spencer has always struggled with his stutter, and at school, it's made him the target of relentless bullying. The thought of giving a speech in front of his classmates fills him with dread. Just when Spencer feels he can't face the challenge, he finds an unexpected ally in his kind and wise neighbour, Mrs May. With her guidance and support, Spencer learns to harness his inner strength and face his fears head-on. As the day of the speech approaches, Spencer discovers that true courage comes from believing in himself, and that with a little help, he can overcome anything. "Spencer's Speech" is an inspiring tale of bravery, friendship, and finding your voice against all odds.
