Blood of the Earth

Ron Kent

Ron Kent's adventure-thriller, The Blood of the Earth is a gripping race through history, danger and the frozen wilderness of the Canadian North.
Lee LaBoeuf is just an average person, an engineer living a quiet life in Yellowknife-until the day a desperate geologist hands him a mysterious leather pouch and runs straight into an oncoming truck. Now, handcuffed to Casey Walsh - the geologist's fiery and determined daughter - Lee is on the run across Canada's North, pursued by ruthless men in dark parkas who will stop at nothing to get what they're after.
Guided by cryptic riddles, lost history, and an ever-dwindling supply of luck, Lee and Casey uncover a deadly secret buried beneath the Arctic tundra-one that could change the fate of the North forever. But as they follow the trail to the legendary Lost Patrol, they realize that there is a lot more at stake than is apparent. They're not just running in search of answers-they're running for their lives.
