Thomas Marks awakens amidst the ruins of war, wounded and weak. The once-mighty Elanthium ‎army lies defeated at the hands of Tamathica's relentless forces. While he is recovering, he has an ‎unexpected visitor: Wisdean, a cryptic wizard clutching a parchment etched with celestial symbols ‎older than time.
