Growing up is not painless. Almost a torture for the protagonist who was born in the wrong place with the wrong temperament. He endures it for as long as he can before setting sail to the most emblematic place in the world; Paris. But there's no perfect city for a bewildered young man who doesn't fit anywhere. The French capital soon becomes a cradle of failures and discontent, a city to escape at any cost for him and his sanity.
