Letters to Margaret

Roy Ward

When Roy Ward lost his wife, Margaret, he began writing to her-not as a way to move on, but as a way to stay connected. Letters to Margaret is a tender and unflinching collection of those letters, capturing the quiet, everyday moments of grief, love, and memory.
This isn't just a story of loss-it's about a lifelong bond that doesn't end with death. Roy writes with honesty and warmth, sharing stories from their life together, reflections on the pain of missing her, and the small steps he takes to keep going. There's sorrow here, yes-but also laughter, resilience, and the deep comfort of remembering someone truly loved.
In sharing his personal journey, Roy speaks to something universal: how we carry those we've lost with us, and how love, even in absence, continues to shape our days. Gentle, heartfelt, and quietly powerful, this book is a companion for anyone learning to live with loss.
