Accidental Murder

Catherine Hannken

When teacher Marsden Delaney stumbles over a bicycle on a dimly lit rural road, her life meets with a horrifying secret: a schoolgirl lying there - dead. And the incident is considered an accident. But what was Maria Jenkins doing riding her bike alone in the hills? And also, why is one of her shoes discovered far from the location of the accident?
What begins as a luckless night transforms into a passion that grips Marsden. Because the details don't add up, and the authorities are too eager to wrap up the case. Besides, accidents don't leave behind this many unresolved queries. So... in the soft moments between twilight and reality, one woman begins to pose a question that no one else dares to ask: what if it was not an accident at all?
