Sublime Dissonance

Kennedy Richardson

Kennedy Richardson's Sublime Dissonance is a sweeping historical saga that spans continents and generations, starting with the ascendance of German culture and industry under Bismarck and ending with the world wars that turned Germany into a hellscape of broken rubble. This is a riveting story about young musicians who strove to fulfill their musical passions and how their lives took dramatic turns as they struggled to navigate the rough currents of the socialist and feminist movements and the destructive madness of war and social taboos. Along the way, we feel the nurturing and sometimes bruising love of family and sweethearts, the shifting tide of dreams and disillusionment, the heroism of cloistered nuns, the sublime joy of virtuosic talent, and the painful despair when it is lost.
