Christina Wilkinson

Keira and Robbie's friendship has weathered the test of time, from their childhood in Belfast to their adult years. In 2003, a work celebration sparks their joyful reunion, but by 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic challenges their bond as they navigate differing responses to isolation. As Keira uncovers family secrets, including the revelation that her Aunt Genevieve is her biological grandmother, she begins a journey into her ancestry, while Robbie struggles with his own personal revelations. When Robbie learns he may have a biological daughter, Alice, their relationship is strained as Keira forms a deeper connection with Alice, who is also grappling with her newfound family. Tensions rise, but the friendship endures through shared moments of vulnerability, growth and emotional healing. Amid complex family dynamics and evolving relationships, Keira and Robbie must confront their pasts, their fears and the bonds that shape their lives.

ABOUT CHRISTINA WILKINSON

Christina was intrigued by genetics from an early age, especially due to having limited family history. Questions of where she came from, a sense of history and identity felt important. When she started her own family, curiosity further deepened.
Christina has had a lifelong passion for reading, from childhood, walking miles to the library, loving every look and smell of the place. Enjoying the variety of books and losing herself in the stories within. She also had a passion for writing, but for many years, the practicalities of life got in the way. That said, she enjoyed her career in the NHS and feels privileged to have gained much life experience.
