Trauma can be many things and have many forms. Sometimes, it is not recognized for what it is until much later, when something happens that forces you too face it. What happens when you experience something that changes the way you understand everything about yourself? Growing up as the child of missionaries often meant being left behind while the parents took off into the distance, following a greater call.
