The Dark Fairy

A story about twins who move to a new home in France. It is an old chateau in a remote region of the Dordogne. It has a vinyard and behind that large areas of woodland and forest. The twins become friends of the fairies who live in a glade deep in the wood. Unfortunately one of the fairies who is very angry because her sister is made the fairy queen, she rebels and leaves the fairy village. Known as the dark fairy she plans to destroy the the fairy village with the help of some goblins. However with the help of the twins the village is saved and the dark fairy is defeated.The twins have have a number of adventures but in the end all turns out well.

ABOUT B. E. TURNER


Born in North Yorkshire, I served a five year engineering apprenticeship and after gaining the appropriate qualifications spent many years teaching engineering. I worked for a number of colleges as a lecturer and many industrial companies as an engineer. I live in West Yorkshire with my wife, Joan, a pharmacist. We have three married children and six grandchildren, who all live in the area.
