In the secluded heart of Westmorland, Emily Branthwaite and Ben Caldwell are ‎worlds apart in class but drawn together by an undeniable connection. Emily, the ‎rebellious daughter of a wealthy family, longs for a life beyond society's ‎constraints. Ben, the loyal son of the estate gardener, is captivated by her spirit. ‎But as they grow closer, Emily's family pressure and Ben's loyalty to his hot-‎headed friend, Patrick, threaten to keep them apart. Against a landscape of social ‎divides and unyielding expectations, their love must defy every boundary-or risk ‎being torn apart forever.‎
Anthony Chew's Broadwater is a poignant tale of forbidden love and resilience ‎in the face of impossible odds.‎

ABOUT ANTHONY CHEW

Growing up in a small Lancashire village in the early sixties, Anthony ‎Chew had a wonderful childhood. Surrounded by a loving family, he ‎was encircled by relatives who nurtured and cared for him. His first ‎love was Burnley Football Club, a relationship still strong today, as is ‎his passion for fishing and golf. Thirty years as an educator soon ‎passed, and he is now semi-retired. He writes stories simply because ‎he loves to write. His wonderful children are grown and flown the ‎nest. He lives happily with his wife, cats, dogs and, oh yes, many ‎horses.‎
