A Teenage Girl's Life in Poetry

Anna Rosseter

The book's title sums everything up! ‎

This book comprises a collection of thirty autobiographical poems, written by the author herself, ‎when she was a teenager. The first poem was written in August 1993, when the author was fourteen ‎years old and the final poem was written in April 1997, a month before she turned eighteen.‎
The poems reflect the trials and tribulations of the author's teenage years and were written as an ‎outlet to help her navigate life as a teenager and the feelings associated with her experiences ‎during that phase of her life. ‎
These poems demonstrate how adolescence is indeed a period of storm and stress and that ‎teenage life can be full of heartaches and unique challenges. However, with a little faith, ‎determination and resilience, and with support from family and friends, each and every teenage ‎individual can make it out the other side, older, wiser and relatively unscathed!‎
