Owls are carnivorous birds with sharp talons. Cats also only eat meat and are rather skilled at catching birds with their sharp claws, and eating most of them (except their gall bladders). So don't you think it rather odd that two such creatures should become friends and get married? Where did the pea-green boat come from? Who gave them the money and the honey? And why did they decide to eat sliced quince instead of tasty mice?
